Howard, tell us a bit more about yourself and your organization.
I am Howard Brodsky, Founder and Chairman of CCA Global Partners, one of North America’s largest purchasing cooperatives. We support over one million family-owned businesses, 35,000 childcare centers, and 2,000 nonprofit organizations. Additionally, I chair the G20 Cooperative Working Group of the International Cooperative Alliance and have founded several global cooperative initiatives, including Cooperatives for a Better World and Principle 6, the first global cooperative of cooperatives.
What motivated you to join ICIN, and how does your participation contribute to cooperative innovation?
I firmly believe that innovation must be at the heart of the future of cooperatives. ICIN plays a key role in bringing together leaders from around the world for thought-provoking discussions that challenge our perspectives, spark new ideas, and foster valuable connections.
What is your vision of innovation, and how does it influence your involvement with ICIN?

Cooperatives must take a leadership role, and this is only possible if innovation is embedded in our mission. To grow, adapt to unforeseen challenges, and attract top talent, we must embrace an innovation-driven mindset.
