International Community for Cooperative Innovative Practice in Responsible AI

DEFINITION

These Terms & Conditions govern the registration and participation in the International Community for Cooperative Innovative Practice in Responsible AI (hereafter referred to as the “Community of Practice”), organized by the cooperative of solidarity International Cooperative Innovation Network (ICIN) in collaboration with the cooperative or solidarity Baseline (hereafter referred to as the “Organizers”).

Registration for the Community of Practice implies the prior and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

REGISTRATION FEES

The annual membership fee to the Community of Practice is set at CAD 500, plus applicable taxes according to the region.

This fee is non-modifiable, regardless of the registration date or the number of remaining sessions at the time of membership.

PARTICIPATION

  • Membership grants access to a total of 8 sessions, including 7 online sessions and 1 hybrid session held during the Global Innovation Cooperative Summit, which will take place in Torres Vedras, Portugal, on October 27 and 28, 2025. Participation fees for the Summit are not included in the subscription.
  • In addition to the sessions, participants will have access to exclusive documentation, reflection exercises, and other resources selected by the Organizers.
  • The submission of the registration form along with full payment confirms the reservation and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. A confirmation email will be sent upon payment validation.
  • All information related to sessions and resources will be sent to participants by email.
  • Participants are responsible for their own internet connection and equipment to attend the online sessions. No compensation will be provided in case of technical issues independent of the Organizers.

PAYMENT METHODS

  • Payments must be made exclusively via the Ticket Tailor platform, by credit card.
  • Once payment is completed, a confirmation email will be sent with instructions for accessing the Practice Community.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

  • No refunds will be granted after registration confirmation.
  • Membership cannot be canceled after payment.

PROGRAM CHANGES

The Organizers reserve the right to modify the Community of Practice program, including dates, times, speakers, and session content, if necessary.

Any changes will be communicated to participants in a reasonable time frame.

No refund requests will be accepted due to these changes.

FORCE MAJEURE

The Organizers cannot be held responsible for the cancellation or rescheduling of sessions due to force majeure, including but not limited to major technical failures, platform issues, or unforeseen circumstances preventing the sessions from being held.

In exceptional cases, the Organizers will make efforts to find an alternative solution whenever possible.

APPLICABLE LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws in force in Quebec, Canada. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts in Quebec will have exclusive jurisdiction.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

  • The collected data will be used exclusively for managing the Community of Practice.
  • Participants may request the deletion of their data at any time by contacting the Organizers.

RECORDING AND USE OF IMAGES

  • The sessions will be recorded for internal use only.
  • No images or videos of participants will be used for promotional purposes without their explicit consent.

 

By registering for Community of Practice, participants acknowledge and accept all the provisions outlined in these Terms and Conditions.
